Welcome to the new (and improved) Chattanooga Message Forum.
Poke around and post back here what you think about the place and what needs to be changed (if possible) to make it our new home.

FWIW, I like the site. I haven't figured out how to add an avator yet...but, I like the way everyone elses shows up big so, I can actually see what the picture is. In the photo section please post directions on how to post pics too.
I also like how you can program how long to be logged in.

I like it. But I am easy to please. I just go with the flow or where the voices in my head tell me to.

I like the format of the new forum. For thr most part I feind things easy to read and to work with. My only problem is reading the descriptions under the clickable icons. I know that pulling the mouse over each icon will display a title, but currently you have to search for the one you want. It might get easier as we use the software. Just my $.005 (1/2 cent) worth

I just realized when I posted my last message that the TOD is set to CDT

No, -your- time of day is set to CDT. You have control over that from your personal settings - you have to click the "observe Daylight Savings" button.

Thank You for the info about the DST switch. I don't remember seeing that when I setup my account. I have made the change. I see that I can request a 24 hour clock which I like

I can't believe you found a format with even MORE PATHETIC smilies than that set of dogs over on EZ Board.

Just take a Sharpie and draw your own smilies...

Use white-out if you fail.
The 'quick reply' takes some getting used to, and I want to leave the thread when I'm done, but I may not have found where you can modify that yet.
The 'UBB'-shit is a pain--at least when I created one from HTML first without checking it was--but overall,
"I Approve."
It's easier to navigate on the FIRST try that EZB was after a week, and I like its customization on my end. I also suspect, with help of DireMakers link, that the colors are more manageable than you suspect, Big 'G'.
Superior Move. Back to checking things out.

It occurs to me that somebody (Worm or LS!?) should undertake an embassy to the Dishonourable Reverend Straylight with the purpose of luring him to this new venue. Of course, having tired of His Own Hell, and lapsed into Myspace, he may be unpersuaded.
But it would be fun. Especially if the Bobsey Clones show up again over here.

He hasn't responded to much in a while--even to borderline vandalism to his Inconveniently located home--but we shall try something. Good call.

The Rev. Straylight has apparently been consumed by the addicition that is known as EverCrack.

What format is this, Gary? Forgive me for asking if you'd posted it all over the old home, but I didn't get to play much there.....by format I mean PhpBB or the likes....

I really like the new digs, Gary. Yeah, I think it would be great fun to have Stray back in the mix. EQ2 is very much in the past, and while he actually does work a good deal at work these days, he occasionally plays online a bit.

Nice system, but I'll miss all the old posts. Kinda like everybody you know moving to a new town ... All the same faces, just different surroundings.

EQ2 is very much in the past, and while he actually does work a good deal at work these days, he occasionally plays online a bit. -- Good, good, and glad.
Ask him to just drop in once a week. Month. Something.
(He had me at 'Duck, I'm Shooting that fucker' once, after all.)

That GIF has been on my system for a few years, and I have never, ever ever gotten tired of watching it. There's a longer version, but this is probably pushing my luck online as a sig, broadband or not.
Search for 'Kopps'. (.gif, or otherwise).

For this one, go here and set your preferences to be emailed when 'you bookmark a thread': sceniccity.proboards98.com/index.cgi?action=bookmarksThen, when you post/reply to anything on the board here, just tick the " Check this box if you wish to bookmark this thread." That will send you notification of replies
