While gluten-free beer is starting to hit the more common market, the ones listed aren't. Being gluten intolerant, I don't care enough for beer to suffer the after effects.
(ask Worm how I reacted to one gulp of cheap beer sometime)

...And to answer an earlier question first, Michelob was left off because this is for a Notta Party, not a girls slumber party.

Let's see if I can remember the details (I got rather obliterated that night). I believe it was turning bright red all over* mixed with severe stomach cramps. The night was cut rather short as she had to return to her apartment and was done for the night. I, being the complete lack of a gentleman that I am, hopped in a cab and went back out to party some more with stevefromthebar and some other friends.
* Well, face and hands at least: we were walking down the street in the quarter and she wasn't riding a float, if you know what I mean, and had no problems getting beads while remaining completely covered. I don't want to imply, and indeed haven't, seen any more of Warkitty than that, except for bike shorts, and there have been pictures here of that I believe... I don't want anyone to get any wrong impressions!

You're no fun. Just leave my fantasies alone. (Not that you were in this particular one.)

Heh, let it be said however that before heading back out to party with Stevefromthebar, my Momma and Step-Doc ensured that Worm was toasty.
but yeah, that pretty much sums up my rather unfortunate reaction to cheap beer. It's poison.

From wikipedia.......some gluten free beer "In November 2006, Lakefront Brewery of Milwaukee,Wisconsin launched its "New Grist" gluten-free beer, brewed with sorghum and rice. It is one of its most successful lines. It is aimed at those with celiac disease, although its low-carb content also makes it popular with health-minded drinkers.[13] In December of 2006 Anheuser-Busch began selling Redbridge, a sorghum-based, gluten-free beer."

Yes, guinness should be enjoyed at room temperature.
Jay, I've considered checking out some gluten free beer, but its just as easy to just stick to margaritas and wine:-D

> guinness should be enjoyed at room temperature.
Correction: Guinness should be enjoyed a the room temperature of an Irish pub cellar, that being about 60 degrees, not the standard 72 degree room temperature here in the states.
It can also be enjoyed much colder, the way most of us heathen Americans consume it.

And it depends on which Guinness you are drinking. The Extra Stout is best at the 60 degree temperature. The Pub Draught (and normal draft) is best colder, although more in the 40's than the iced down 30-something typical in most bars.
So far, Hoppy's/Stone Lion has been the only bar in town to serve Guinness draft at the right temperature, and that's no more. Everywhere else serves it ice cold.
