On April 5, 2007 the leading Court TV psychic (with 11 episodes on the 'Psychic Detectives' series), lost a federal lawsuit brought by a skeptic writer who sued her in 2005. The federal judge (a real, not one played by an actor!) awarded the skeptic $39,558 in legal fees and cost reimbursements, and eliminated all counter claims by the psychic. Psychic Noreen Renier due to the lawsuit had her book publisher (Berkley/Penguin) cancel her book, which caused her estimated losses on royalties plus her promotional costs and own legal fees to bring her estimated total losses and costs --- adding in the $39,558 payment to the skeptic --- at over $110,000 though April. And finally --- if that weren't enough! --- witnesses have recently come forward to indicate the foundation for the psychic's "most unusual case" is a bogus charade! For an amazing overview see www.amindformurder.com It will certainly put things into perspective the next time you watch Court TV. There is fantasy entertainment and the real thing!
