Back in Atlanta and last night I tried to get the heat/air unit to obey my will. I failed.
I stood there for ten minutes pressing the buttons for "set/run program" so that the program would think that at all times it should be 72 degrees in this little condo. I kept on monkeying with it to try to convince it that 72 is the temperature this place should be. Instead it insists that I would be happier shivering and unable to sleep well at 60. Bundling up to sleep is NOT my idea of an acceptable temperature.
Dammit.

I'm with you on that one. I HATE to be cold when I'm trying to sleep. Hubby & I have totally different ideas about what temperature the bedroom should be. We finally compromised on a room colder than I like it, but I get a big fat comforter on my side of the bed and he has a thin quilt that his mother made. No point in 'making' the bed, because we can't share the covers.

You're not alone Kitty. My heat went on strike. My house seems to be happy in the 40s right now, 60 sounds great. At least I have a space heater and can have a warm bedroom The rest of the house is like camping inside.

Most men like living in meat lockers.

*cool* is one thing. COLD to where I can't shave because of the goosebumps... bad.

Women are usually more cold natured than guys. It's hard at work. I'm always burning up and they're cold and don't want me to blast the AC...
