Paris Hilton free after serving 4 days of a 30 day sentence. I don't see how you can argue differently but try.

Is anyone surprised? She is too rich to be in jail. It has nothing to do with California, she would have gotten out in any state.
And why did she get out? Sounds like she didn't like jailhouse food. If I am ever arrested I'll complain about the food, maybe I can get out that way too!

Her medical condition was that she wasn’t eating the food and she was crying all day long. I read that she refused to eat the hot dogs they served her. The first time this woman has had any aversion to wieners.

The Left Coast only raises the price. Here in Chatt Town she could get out just the same is she simply lived on The Mountain.
Should have left her in the pokey. It would have built character.

Well, I hope y'all are happy now. The judge said that monitored house arrest did not meet his sentencing order and Paris is now back in the pokey. The sheriff may be brought up on contempt charges over this.

Hours after she was sent home under house arrest Thursday for an undisclosed medical condition, the judge who put her in jail for violating her reckless-driving probation ordered her into court to decide if she should go back behind bars. Hilton must report to court at 9 a.m. Friday, Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini told The Associated Press. "My understanding is she will be brought in in a sheriff's vehicle from her home," Parachini said. The celebrity inmate was sent home from the Los Angeles County jail's Lynwood lockup shortly after 2 a.m. in a stunning reduction to her original 45-day sentence. She had reported to jail Sunday night after attending the MTV Movie Awards in a strapless designer dress. |

Would it be fair to anyone to send them home (even under house arrest) and then the next day take them back into court about it.
Wouldn't it give anyone false hopes.
But then the sheriff did it when he really didn't have the power to do so.

This whole Paris Hilton saga is humorous, pathetic, disgusting, etc. but what really kills me is the amount of time the media is spending on such a ridiculously stupid story.
Personally I am glad the judge put her back in jail for the full 45 days but it also means the media will be broadcasting daily updates (at least I believe that will happen) on her condition.
Unbelievable....I am really disappointed in FoxNews as they actually put this in the "Breaking News" category. Jeezzz!!!

Too bad, she isn't in Russa. The female jails there are 1,000 x worse than ours. Every Female prisoner gets their head shaved. Paris needs to thank her lucky stars that she isn't over there.

The media coverage has a lot less to do about her and a lot more to do with a test to the all men are created equal idea from the Declaration of Independence.
Paris was starting to make it look like a catchphrase.
I guess we could have substituted, 'Where's the beef!'.
