9 Did you see it? Not a children's movie. The theme would be lost. Great movie. Sit down with a cool one and the kleenex.

Edge of Darkness - AFAIK it only had me actually snoring once, but I wouldn't mind having those two hours back...

"The Hurt Locker" last weekend and tonight "Taking Chance." Kevin Bacon was excellent in "Taking Chance" and deserved the Golden Globe he received. A moving film. "The Hurt Locker" should win the oscar, but probably will be eclipsed in the voting by "Avatar."

Watched 2012 last night. Not bad as far as a disaster movie goes, though some of it was over the top. Very good special effects though!

If you could suspend your disbelief after the mind numbing barrage of impossible things in the first ten minutes, the rest was somewhat enjoyable.

We went to see Alice in Wonderland-3-D. WOW! Not really for little children, though. Some of the scenes were a little weird. Good movie!

I have yet to see a movie that was as good (Or as bad) as the book. But, I guess it is difficult to distill 90,000 words into a 90 minute movie.

Today we took the children to see How to Train a Dragon. Pretty good! And we went to the Learning Express toy store, the park and Old McDonald's. We're beat!

The Seamstress was on Sci Fi the other night-was interesting. Love Lance Henriksen in general so it was worth watching a kind of not the greatest flick to see / hear him.

The Usual Suspects Avatar The Blindside & Transformers
These were over the last week or so... Avatar was one of those that was not that great a movie... but I couldn't stop thinking about it for days.

Watched 'Hancock' last night. Good movie, and a refreshingly different take on the "superhero". Will Smith did great as usual.

"The End Of The Century: The Story Of The Ramones" - Pretty cool, never realized Johnny was that much of a prick. Cool prick, but a prick nonetheless.

Eddie Vedder used to mow his lawn because of that; he was shunned by the "in" crowd, and Vedder felt the "in" crowd owed Johnny.

"Hang 'Em High"---I had never seen an unedited version. The movie is much better when not sliced for commercials.

Dead Snow...it's on-demand/free movies. Foreign indy zombie film, was surprisingly good, reminded me of Raimi's Evil Dead films from 20yrs ago.

Watched 'Hancock' last night. Good movie, and a refreshingly different take on the "superhero". Will Smith did great as usual. My family wanted to see it. They are big Will Smith fans. It was a good movie, but the last 3rd or so was almost excessively violent for a family movie. Good movie, but I am not sure how traumatizing it would be for a 10 year old to see their hero repeatedly gunned down at almost point blank range.
