Not for the first time, but for the first time in a while watched 'Penny Serenade,' with Cary Grant ... such a great (sad, but wonderful also) movie. *sniff* (again)

Wicked Little Things-was interesting enough idea-little kid zombies -shrug- I wouldn't buy the dvd or anything but while it's saved I'll watch it a few times more before deleting I think.

Abominable-was on sci-fi and was absolutely hilarious. No it wasn't meant to be but the monster costume was like mothra quality, and the eyes were so far apart and the acting so terrible that I just could not get into the actual story itself-if it had been done with a halfway decent monster costume or actors/acting I might have been able to pay attention to the story more.
As it stands I just laughed all the way through.Ares came into the room a few times and gave me some rather odd looks and informed me that the big monster looked weird but apparently it didn't entice him enough to stay and watch it with me.
Unlike that god forsaken egg laying sequence in alien vs predator -sigh-

"Around the Bend," with Christopher Walken and Michael Caine. Very interesting.

FIDO - A touching story about a boy and his pet. Pet Zombie that is. This movie is a must see. It's like Lassie meets Shawn Of The Dead

Blood, You're the second person in 2 days that has suggested this movie. I think I'll have to go dig up a copy.

Penny Dreadful-was a decent film-loved how they worked up the opening bits and the story was alright.Just a bit frusterating at times for the lack of anything huge happening. More of a psychological horror at times and I got really impatient with the main character as a result It would have made a much better book. Watched Shallow Ground the same day and really enjoyed it alot-interesting story idea and I never got impatient with any of the main characters.

Went to see Hairspray with a friend the other night ... wasn't looking forward to it, and wouldn't buy the DVD, but enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Funny.

Just returned from Saw IV....I went because my wife LOVES horror movies/books. It was OK, but I would have preferred B Movie.

I probably would like "American Gangster" (especially because I'm a big Denzel Washington AND Russell Crowe fan) BUT I have a hard time enjoying anything that glorifies criminals. PoPo to the core....

I didn't see it so much as glorifying criminals as it was showing how the slightest mistake can bring one down when operating outside of the law. It also shows how living the gangster lifestyle can destroy everything that you love.

"Hot Fuzz". Good, but not as good as "Sean of the Dead."

Finally rented "The Devils Wears Prada" Even got the boyfriend to watch it with me. It was pretty good and he didn't gripe about it being a "chick flick" he even said it was good.
Not too far off of the book... but would have been better if there had been more character development following the book.

Go see Beowulf if you want to see real good 3d CGA. I saw it last night and was amazed at how good the 3d was and also the graphics.

Bee Movie wasn't bad. FunGrrrl and I saw it with Lil' Red the other weekend. All three of us enjoyed it. Although I think FunGrrrl and I were laughing more than anyone else in the theatre....

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - Wasn't expecting much from this one to begin with... Eh a couple of the bloopers were kinda amusing.
