I noticed that all the cups, flasks and baskets appeared empty. Is there supposed to be a lesson here?
I wanna go to a church where the cups, flasks and baskets are full.

I'm really not all that up on how the Presbyterians deal with Lent, being a rather non-conformist Methodist myself. But they asked me to come over and take some photos of their Lenten tables today, so I did. They are a new web client, by way of explanation of why they asked me.

It's a lovely set up and a beautiful photo...
As a 'heathen' Baptist, I don't have a clue what the symbology is either.

I think it symbolizes sacrifice and fasting till Jesus rises on Easter, then they feast.
Or some such suchness.

Dunno. I haven't been Presbyterian in years.
I will admit, its the first church my parents took me too though.
