I CAN BE ADOPTED
Hello. My name is Sweet Pea and I need a loving, new, forever family. Even though I would love to stay at my wonderful foster home, the kind lady who saved me from life on the streets, being starved and mistreated, cannot keep me; as she has 12 other 4-legged children already. Let me tell you about myself. I am approximately 8 months old and am a Walker Coonhound according to the vet who gave me all my shots, wormed me, tested me for heartworms (I was negative - - thank goodness), gave me heartworm meds and flea and tick meds, bathed and groomed me, and spayed me. I weigh approximately 40 lbs, now that I have been fed regularly and have gained weight. I was only skin and bones when the kind lady rescued me. I am a very sweet and gentle girl, hence my name - - Sweet Pea. I would love a new family with children and other pet’s maybe or a new single mom whom I could spend all my time with. I am a little timid and insecure right now, but am getting over that quickly. I don't bite and I play well with all other animals. As far as I know, I don't have any bad habits; and I would prefer to be a family pet and not a hunting dog; as I don't like to chase other animals, unless I'm playing, of course. I need a home with a fenced yard or where I will be walked on a leash always, as, after all, I do have a hound's nose and curiosity and I wouldn't want to ever get lost. I really would prefer to be allowed to be a house dog; as I love to cuddle on the couch. My foster mom doesn't have a picture of me that she can post yet, but if you are interested in more info about me, she can send you one later. My foster mom says that ONLY serious inquiries need apply and that she requires a re-homing fee of $50. (I was starving and I guess I ate a lot of groceries when she first found me). If you would like to be my new family and take me home, please contact my foster mom. Let me forewarn you though to be prepared - - she will do a thorough interview before she lets me leave, so be ready to answer a lot of questions to her satisfaction - - I think she loves me like one of her own. I am healthy now and am excitedly waiting to meet you. You may email my foster mom at KW818@COMCAST.NET ONLY if you are interested in more info about me and ONLY if you promise to always love and care for me. My foster mom has tried ALL other avenues that she knows to find me a new home and this is her last option. But, don't worry, if this doesn't work, she will still take care of me until someone else comes along to fall in love with me. She saved my life, so I know she won't let anything bad happen to me. I can't wait to hear from you. God Bless You! P.S. My foster mom won’t ship me so you’ll have to drive to pick me up. If you live in or close to Chattanooga, you may call my foster mom at 423-505-7896 after 4pm EST. If for ANY reason I do not work out at my new home, you will have to sign a document stating that I will be returned to my foster mom.
