Herman's Soul Food in Brainerd Countryside Cafe in Ooltewah Not technically a meat and three, but I also like Home Folks in Soddy Daisy.

Real Good: Country Diner, Browns Ferry Rd., in Tiftonia

Darn Good: Mt. Vernon on South Broad St.

Consistently Good: Cracker Barrel, all over the place

Not bad but overrated: Wally's on McCallie Ave.
