I saw a nice looking 2005 maroon, twin-cylinder Honda 750 Shadow motorcycle along Delashmitt Road. Mr. Jenkins wants $3,000 for it, it started right up, and it looks like it's worth the money. I'd have to go back to get his telephone number but will if someone asks.
He's 77 years old and figures he's too old to ride it any longer.
He's not the first owner.
It has a little over 5,000 miles on it.

The Honda Motorcycle Company first started selling its popular Honda Shadow motorcycle in 1983. This innovative motorcycle cruiser was equipped with a liquid-cooled, V-Twin engine that had a displacement of either 491cc (VT500C) or 749cc (VT750C). When it was initially introduced, the Shadow was only available in two colors, black and Candy Wineberry red. Today, the Honda Shadow is available in several subclasses, namely the Aero, Sabre, VTX, and Spirit, and a few extra color combinations. Of all the models, though, reviewers seem to be most impressed by the Honda Shadow Spirit. It's very likely that this widely held sentiment is based on that fact that the Honda Shadow Spirit is just as fun to look at as it is to ride. The Honda Shadow Spirit 750 was officially unveiled in 2001 to entice beginning riders to purchase a motorcycle cruiser. This lightweight bike only weighed around 500 pounds and also came with a lightweight price tag. You could purchase a brand-new one for less than 6,000 dollars. Even though the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 was discontinued in 2004, it made an impressive comeback in 2005. The newly designed bike is still lightweight, reasonably priced--coming in just above the 6,000 dollar mark for a new one--and is now available in the following three color schemes: basic black, black and red, and a pearl blue with metallic silver detailing. Overall, the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 is considered one of the best bikes for the value.
