Jim Morrison was a true star and a prophet that walked amongst us. There may be something to the living-life-stoned thing. I'm gonna try it.... (again), when I retire.

The whole Oedipal nature of this song ruins it for me. I did walk a long distance to see the site where he died because I was traveling with a major fan. I would skip the dying of a herion overdose in a cheap club's (Rock n' Roll Circus) shitter in your emulation.

My teenage musical repertoire was limited to the Archies, the Monkees, and the Cowsills
I spasmed and convulsed until I chewed through the spoon first time I heard Hendrix

I can actually remember the first time I heard him on the radio too. The same with Nirvana. It's often easy to recognize a classic. Of course, I can remember the first time I heard Motley Crue, Queensyche and Iron Maiden too. I like all sorts of music, but good music is getting harder and harder to come by. I'll leave this classic here: youtu.be/9hinmzg60WQ
