I've heard really good things about this CD. What do you think?

I think it's GREAT! Bennett sings with a multitude of stars on their own songs that are re-made to create original works. My two favorites are: "For Once In My Life" with Stevie Wonder and "Cold, Cold Heart" with Tim McGraw.

Nothing at the moment, but I think I might turn on something while I rip my DVD collection...
Hmmm, maybe some Tull or Zappa?

He produced so much. I'm decades behind on his instrumental stuff, especially posthumous releases. Still love "Overnight Sensation", "One Size Fits All".

If I could only pick one Zappa album to listen to for all time, it would be Hot Rats. The fusion of rock and jazz, and the added insanity/brilliance of Captain Beefheart make this one of my all time favorite albums. Apostrophe, Overnight Sensation, and Sheik Yerbouti may have been more popular, and they are great, but the humor aspect pales after about the 100th listen. Not so with Hot Rats.

Oh, the memories.
Even with some of his (at times) sophomoric humor, Zappa's musicality was always top flight. And the F...er could do it live, too.

Has anyone ever heard of the group The Death Weather? They are from Nashville. American Pickers has a second location in Nashville. They sold the lead singer an elephant head. I had to buy a CD. Different king of rock, but very good.

Another great voice gone.

You are correct. It is The Dead Weather. The lead singer also was a part of White Stipes. And Mike White was a singer in Racontuers. Good groups. I like rock.

Ever hear of Go Fish Guys or Straight No Chaser ? ? ? Really good music. I know that Go Fish Guys are for kids, but they also are good for adults. Love them.
