An ongoing debate between East Ridge city officials and a local youth soccer organization ended up in court Thursday morning, with the court siding with the sports association. Hamilton County Circuit Court Judge Jacqueline Bolton ordered the City of East Ridge to allow the East Ridge Soccer Association (ERSA) full access to all of its equipment and to the soccer fields at Camp Jordan. Bolton ordered an inventory of the equipment to be conducted by a representative of the East Ridge Soccer Association and the City of East Ridge, and additionally ordered that no equipment would be disposed or removed from Camp Jordan. Representatives with ERSA noted that the group, which had been in operation for decades as both a recreation league at Camp Jordan and a select soccer league, had "reluctantly been forced" to file suite against the city. www.wrcbtv.com/story/16953181/judge-rules-in-favor-of-east-ridge-soccer-association

We've been there many times for the soccer matches with out then 8 and 6 yr old grandchildren. It's a great park, and I'd hate for them to lose it.

Everybody KNOWS "parks" are for politicians and their cronies, not for children.
