A promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama's then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii." In his own words************************************* Interesting. Lets have some fun.

Dreams from My FatherFor a long time I was giving BO the bennifit of the doubt on this. I felt that he was using a play from the book "Rules for Radical" in which a tactic is to have the enemy focus on something that has no real value to make them look like fools. Now it seems that there might be something to it.

Who cares, there are bigger fish to fry, mainly like getting the parties to address the debt and working to make economic growth more sustainable. These BS side issues are pretty weak and do nothing to address the important issues of the day.

Even Michelle says he was born in Kenya. Home country (mother country, motherland, etc) does not mean place of birth. It usually refers to a family's origin. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HomelandYou hear a lot of US born Italians using the same term.

As I understand, there is a local Manny Rico Birthers group that questions the citizenship of our local councilman. If you made it to President of the United States, you have been vetted to the hilt, and if you are a city council person, your citizenship is the least of your issues.
In the case of Obama, his citizenship is the least of my concerns, his lack of leadership is.

His "lack of leadership" is related to his lack of respect for and understanding of the Constitution of the United States, which is certainly not the least of my concerns.

Your alternative was John McCain. Are you suggesting that John McCain, half of the act that gave us McCain-Feingold, has a better understanding of the Constitution?

My 'understanding' of the Constitution of the United States extends to the part that says the President of the United States has to be BORN in the United States to qualify for the Office.
If definitive proof were ever uncovered that this was NOT the case, then EVERY Law signed, EVERY Executive Order, EVERY treaty, and EVERY judicial appointment of this President would, in effect, become NULL and VOID, an intriguing turn of events if I ever heard of one.
Crazy or not, hope the hounds stay on this case

Let's see: you doubt BHO was born in the USA despite documentation from Hawaii, yet believe that the creator of the universe impregnated a human whose issue was a demi-god, died and rose from the dead?

Ah, faith. Always useful when evidence and logic fail your cause.

Sounds like YOU'RE the ones relying on "faith".
I have faith that Blood will out, and the Truth never dies.
If what I describe happens 150 years from now, the same consequences will follow.
I can wait if you can.

That's not exactly how the Trinity thing works. There is no demi-god involved only God. Jesus Christ is God who was conceived by God the Holy Spirit. The issue was God in the Flesh or Jesus Christ, fully God and fully Man. The flesh was crucified, dead and buried and on the third day the flesh arose from the dead. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are not three but one. All God. There is only One God.

Actually, it wasn't until the 4th century CE that the politics of the church decreed that Jesus was essentially the same as God. Prior to that there was spirited debated (before being suppressed) as to the nature of Jesus, his divinity and whether his resurrection was literal or figurative. You, of course, overlay your view on the terms used. Without intending affront, I was using terms typically applied to beliefs of a deity impregnating a human, as is done in our culture's description of Greco-Roman Mesopotamian/Egyptian religious stories.

Actually, the Bible has Jesus claiming to be God, so the only "politics" is whether you believe what the Bible says or not. Not relying upon a church that uses the same headgear as the Dagon cult.

Actually, the Bible, written at different times by different men, says many different things. Until it was codified, omitting many existing texts and supressing them, religious leaders and "church fathers" had lively debates abut Jesus' exact nature. Constantine conviened the Council of Nicea, in an attempt to unify belief and stamp out "heresy". It was DECREED by men, under imperial authority that Jesus was "...of one being with the Father..." a belief that was not universal up to that time by any means.
In any event, this is becoming a theo/phiosphical discussion, and should be on a different thread. My point is/was the suspension of belief with the easily proven while dogmatically believing that which is unprovable as it applies to the topic of this thread.

And Hawaii has rereleased documents validating BHO's birth in the USA.
End of discussion?

That document is not even accepted by Hawaii as proof of birth in Hawaii.

Who cares about these fables lets get back to the real discussion. This has nothing to do with the invisible sky wizard. No one has said anything about an invisible sky wizard. And Hawaii has rereleased documents validating BHO's birth in the USA. End of discussion? You would think so but probably not. People believe what they want to believe and there is a sector of our society that want to believe that Barack Obama is not fit for office. Believing that he's Kenyan is justification to them for that belief. And in a display of tit for tat there are now claims that Mitt Romney was born in Mexico. It was actually his father but never let the truth get in the way of a good rumor.

MITT ROMNEY WAS BORN IN MEXICO. Any proof he provides has to be forged and faked. I want Sheriff JIm Hammond to send investigators to Mass. Michigan and Mexico and prevent him from getting on the ballot in Tennessee. Good chance Mitt is a pedophile as well we all know those Mormons love to bang underage bitches and make them their wife.
