Title says it. Who in town has the best falafels? Really hankerin' for a good falafel, either in a pita by by itself

Nope. Middle Eastern. The Indians do have somewhat similar "fritters" made from various dals (legumes) and spices and fried called (depending on area) vada/wada/bada. Falafel, usually made of ground chickpeas, some times with lentils added (and with dried fava beans in Egypt) are a product of the eastern Mediterranean area. Hope there is a decent one locally.

Haven't had one in a while, but they use to be good at Ankars. East Brainer location.

Dunno. I had falafel at Ankar's years ago. Won't do that again.
