Though I don't live in the city, I own a business and I am interested in who is running. I'm really to the point of saying if you have held office already, especially for more than one or two terms, it's time to move on and let someone else give it a try. There might be one exception but Chattanooga is changing quickly and we really need common sense, new ideas, and energy. I realize the impossibilities but it's a suggestion. It's also time for some Politicians that can speak plainly and distinctly and not play the good ol' boy game any longer. In closing, I am also perplexed as to why Craig W. Joel has not announced his candidacy for Mayor yet.

mrevents, you make a lot of sense. Like you, I want honesty, public money treated with respect and for essential services. I want elected folks we can trust to not waste public money. If all the waste went to essential services, Chattanooga would be a city with fewer problems.
Craig Joel is on the political radar for sure. Many people have asked me about him, communication skills perfect, think Hatch Act problem, like Gobble.

I can't picture it. He's not dumb enough.
(Alex Teach, on the other hand ...Yeah, I'd vote for him if I lived in that marvelous metropolis.)

Ok, Dibs on Dan Johnson role, I wish to award contracts to my friends without bids. BTW, one of these women is likely to get a huge award of city funds. Title VI violations are not covered by municipal insurance. The Page legacy will be costly. She has attorney Harry Burnett. vimeo.com/28906283?action=share
