While my Wii sits neglected on the shelf, gathering dust, folks who were smarter than me and bought an Xbox are putting their game systems through a strenuous workout this week. Hot on the heels of the $220 million launch of Halo 4 in just it's first 24 hours, comes news that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 tallied an astonishing $500 million in it's first 24 hours. "With first day sales of over half a billion dollars worldwide, we believe Call of Duty is the biggest entertainment launch of the year for the fourth year in a row," Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard, said in a statement.
