A police officer has been shot and killed, a car-jacking, a high speed pursuit, explosives used against police and at least one male in custody in a suburb of Boston, MA.
I'll not speculate any more.
My thoughts and prayers are immediately with the family of the LEOKA and with the all the LE, Fire and EMS running towards bad shit.

It has been reported a second LEO has been critically injured during the pursuit. My thoughts and prayers are with that LEO, and his family, as are my continued thoughts and prayers for the LEOKA.
Without any more speculation, these cops (And their families) are true heroes.
It appears Suspect # 1 (Black hat) is dead at the hands of LE. (Good.)
It appears Suspect # 2 (White hat) is in the wind.
It appears the forcibly naked guy, proned out in the street, is owed a new track suit by the FBI. He has been released and now has the 'Wrong place at the wrong time' story of the current century.
(As an aside.... Had naked dude argued, refused to instantly comply with lawful orders or demanded his Perry Mason inspired, street level, incompetent, jail house lawyer/Mademoiselle Duke and Robin Flores encouraged Constitutional Rights be afforded, in the face of overwhelming fire power and the totality of the circumstances, he'd probably been righteously dead, too.)
(I readily admit the jail house lawyer, incompetent and Robin Flores reference is abundantly redundant.)
Curiously, most of the media, and Radley Balko, have been awfully quiet about their unfounded concerns about the 'Rise of the Warrior Cop' and police militarization during this entire story.
In all seriousness....
Be safe, my Brothers and Sisters in Massachusetts... and put the Habeas Grabbus on Suspect # 2, right quick.

An open question to Mr. Radley Balko....
Mr. Balko: Are you planning to put a chapter in 'Rise of the Warrior Cop', or a discussion of successful police militarization (The rule, rather than your exceptional allegations,) regarding the Boston Marathon case, that is now unfolding?

Boston bomb suspect captured, brother killed By JAY LINDSAY and EILEEN SULLIVAN Associated Press WATERTOWN, Mass. (AP) -- A 19-year-old Massachusetts college student wanted in the Boston Marathon bombing was captured hiding in a boat parked in a backyard Friday night and his older brother lay dead in a furious 24-hour drama that transfixed the nation and paralyzed the Boston area. The bloody endgame came four days after the bombing and just a day after the FBI released surveillance-camera images of two young men suspected of planting the pressure-cooker explosives that ripped through the crowd at the marathon finish line, killing three people and wounding more than 180. The two men were identified by authorities and relatives as ethnic Chechens from southern Russia who had been in the U.S. for about a decade and were believed to be living in Cambridge, Mass. But investigators gave no details on the motive for the bombing. Early Friday morning, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed in a ferocious gun battle and car chase during which he and his younger brother hurled explosives at police from a stolen car, authorities said. The younger brother managed to escape. Read more: ap.orgYet another victory for the citizens of the US and the 'militarized police.'
Kudos to the citizens of Boston, Massachusetts.
Kudos to the Federal, State and Local LE (Especially Officer Sean Collier) who obviously worked their collective asses off and cleared this case in less than a week.
Amazing what we can do when we ignore the vocal world view of the general media and Mademoiselle Duke, et al, and do the right thing.

It is greatly ironic that this scum has been transported, and is being treated for his insignificant injuries, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA.
Get this flaccid prick physically well, interrogate his ass (Under the public safety exception of the Constitution) and then execute him, after the due process of US law.
