Can't think of the name right now, but it's in the same plaza (on 153) as Aldi's, but around the corner, next to the liquor store.
Anybody tried it?

Never been there, but I know some people who have, said it was pretty decent.

Old Saigon is the name. I eat there a couple of times a month and I have always had great service and freshly prepared food. It is a family run business and the folks have lived in Chattanooga for years.

Old Saigon is indeed an excellent restaurant. The Pho (Vietnamese soup) is quite good, a very well flavored broth with a few different additions to choose from. Any seafood I've had here has been very fresh. A very interesting place to eat, not too expensive and very, very friendly.

I've heard Kordax remark well about the place, too.

I like the Asparagus Crab Soup. I forget what it's called, but I like the dish they have that is prepared with crispy raw noodles - really good. We haven't been in a while and stopped by a couple of weeks ago, but it was Monday and they were closed.

Kordax and I enjoyed a delicious lunch there just yesterday as a matter of fact. I LOVE that place. Some of the best spring rolls Evar, and she believes me when I tell her I want my food cooked "Vietnamese hot."
Yeah, I recommend it. Highly.

I live 3 minutes from the Old Saigon, but without Cat's prompting, I rarely swing by -- I love their food & the owners are the best of the best ....
