Went to eat there today - great hand-pulled pork. Smoked just right but not too smokey (too smokey is too rich for me and makes me sick). If I'm not mistaken, all the sides and desserts are homemade. I tried the blackberry cobbler with ice cream - delicious!
They do not skimp on the pork either - I have enough food for lunch tomorrow. They have NY Strip Steak night on Fridays, with baked potato and salad, for $13.95. They have ribs and you can get BBQ by the pound.
Check it out ya'll!

Jay, do you know for sure the place on Snow Hill Rd. is up and running? Last I heard, they needed to get the smoker set up.
TNBear - that blackberry cobbler will knock your socks off!

No, I'm not sure. I just got that info off the web site I found. It'd be weird if it wasn't though because I believe the Ooltewah location was the first one.

It was the first one but when he opened up the bigger place in Lookout Valley, he moved the smoker out there. He had to build a new one in order to re-open the smaller place.

We had lunch there today. Very good BBQ. I do think all of the sides are homemade. Collards were excellent. Spicy with a few shreds of pork on top. Cooked so they still have a little crunch to them. Slaw was O.K. Potato salad very tasty. The pork wasn't swimming in sauce. Be warned if your not into slaw on your sandwich let them know....We will definitely be going back to try the ribs.....Portions were generous enough that I had no room for the blackberry cobbler.

I'm glad you enjoyed it Rogue. I'll be sure and let them know. One of the cooks is my son so I may be just a tad biased but I wouldn't recommend it myself if I didn't like the food.

Not only was the food Very good but the lady working the counter was amazingly Nice...I consider myself somewhat of a BBQ snob and this place got very high marks.
