I don't like tomatoes but, fwiw my husband does and our plants just wilted up and died this year. I am glad you had better success. Now our squash and zucchini kicked ass and took names this year. I am so burned out of zucchini!!!! We've been getting at least 3 of them a day from just 2 plants

Sorry to hear about your tomatos. I too have been "blessed" with a good squash harvest. The green beans have done well also, we are going to plant the third patch this weekend I hope. The cucumber however has only produced only a couple of fruit and they are rather mutated, last year we had cukes up to our knees.

With mayo and a little salt. Yum!
It's been a long time since I've had a good 'mater sammie.
Biscuits, gravy and tomato sound good too!

Chopped maters with the juice in a bowl, torn up lettuce, mayo as a dressing, and a little salt and pepper as needed. Then use white bread to sop up the juice. A good summer salad.

I like those homegrown tomatoes on my peanut butter sandwich. Add some pickled jalepenos and you really have something.

Agrees with Footy...Geez Justin. I much prefer peanut butter and mayo with dill pickles. Tomatos should have mayo, salt and pepper only. Of course this is MHO.

I like mine with white bread, mayo, salt and pepper. That's it. The more acid the tomatoes the better. Especially if they make a tongue ulcer. ;D

I don't mess with the pepper, and I like a little mustard with my mayo and salt. Ditto on the acidity, Tookie.
