A longtime Walker County 911 dispatcher has been missing since last Thursday morning, Sheriff Steve Wilson said at a press conference on Monday afternoon. Sheriff Wilson said 41-year-old Theresa Parker had four days off work and took a day of leave. He said she was due back at work at 7 p.m. Monday. But he said no one has heard from her since Wednesday night. Sheriff Wilson said, "The best-case scenario is that she will show up for work tonight." However, she did not show up. www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_104261.asp

What's the over/under on the number of days before the "distraught" husband gets arrested for her murder?

Sadly, that was my first thought, but so far the husband appears on the up-and-up.

Cadaver dogs were used in a ground search Tuesday for missing 911 operator Theresa Parker in LaFayette. Walker County’s Cave and Rescue team, Walker County Fire Department personnel, Walker County Sheriff’s Office personnel and other volunteers searched about a five-mile area around the home Ms. Parker shared with her husband, LaFayette Police Sgt. Sam Parker. The couple was in the process of separating. Ms. Parker's car was found at the home the couple shared on Cordell Road. The 41-year-old 911 dispatcher has been missing since last Thursday. www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_104261.asp

Wherever her car was last, is likely wherever she was last. She didn't just toss the keys aside and take a long walk to nowhere, never to return.
When the extra day of leave was taken, did SHE personally make the arrangements or someone else?
Funny she took an extended 5 day off week and all of a sudden never came back. Where did she spend her 5 days? With HIM? How many of those days did he work?
My thoughts - She took time off work to spend figuring out exactly what to do from here, he was involved, they likely got into an argument and he decided she wasn't going anywhere. So he made sure of it.

NewsChannel 9 reported tonight about an incident between these 2 while on vacation in FL in 2005-he was firing his service weapon out of the car window and threatened to shoot himself while handcuffed to her. He was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric facility for 9 days after this incident.
