County Commission Expected To Approve Hiring Of Forensic Pathologist

The County Commission is expected to act next Wednesday to approve the hiring of a new forensic pathologist for the county medical examiner's office.
The office has been seeking for a lengthy time to find a replacement for Dr. Stanton Kessler, who departed in November 2004.
Dr. Frank King, medical examiner, said he has been overworked, and some bodies have had to be sent to Nashville for autopsies by the state medical examiner.
Dr. Jim Metcalfe has agreed to join the King office.
