No trace of missing Walker County 911 dispatcher Theresa Parker was found in a pond across from her home on Cordell Road in LaFayette. Sheriff Steve Wilson said Walker County Emergency Services personnel completed draining the pond at 11 p.m. Tuesday. He said, "There was no evidence found at the pond linking the site to the disappearance of Theresa Parker." Sheriff Wilson had said authorities did not have any evidence leading them to believe that Ms. Parker's body was in the pond. He said divers checked out portions of the pond earlier, but there was so much brush along the edges that they could not safely check it all. www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_104811.asp

They may have a better chance of finding Jimmy Hoffa.... I don't know Babs... There was an article yesterday about her estranged husband and one of the officers on his shift lying about whether or not he was working the night before she went missing. It also said that officers were having to take polygraphs. They seem to be working very hard on this case. I hope they find out what happened to her or find her.

I think I will wait until the evidence is in to comment on the guilt or innocence of any one involved.
I truly hope they find her alive and well.
If they don't, I hope they build a bomb-proof case (Which is what it sounds like they are doing) against who ever did this.

Yeah, it is hard to say definitely who did what when, unless you are dealing with a TV crime drama guaranteed to have a resolution within forty minutes.
The overwhelming majority of "estranged disappearing spouses" turn out to be victims of their spouse. Nevertheless, clear and "bomb-proof" evidence is the only justification for final assignment of guilt. That is called due process.
I would like to hope with all my heart that Mrs. Parker is alive. I will not give up that hope quite yet.

It's a man.
Of course he's automatically guilty.

Heard maybe half an hour ago that the husband has been suspended from the force without pay but not fired. No other details were given.
