Police report illegal drugs, alcohol sales, female dancing By Lauren Gregory Staff Writer Chattanooga police are looking into shutting down a Rossville Boulevard business they say was operated by a career criminal until state and local officials raided it over the weekend and found a number of liquor, narcotics and adult entertainment violations. “He’s got a history of extremely violent criminal activity,” Chattanooga Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Noorbergen said of 38-year-old Edward “Ace” Williams, operator of Club Coffee at 2905 Rossville Blvd. Mr. Williams — who according to officials with the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole has served time on armed robbery, accessory to attempted murder and weapon possession charges — was among six adults and two juveniles arrested Friday night during a raid by Chattanooga police and the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission. During the raid, which concluded a “long-term investigation” of the business, officers found “female dancers in various stages of undress” as well as “customers with alcoholic beverages and a full bar in working order,” Sgt. Noorbergen said.

Wait until you see the resume' of the guy that was running this particular dump. That's what sets this one apart, providing the media take interest in the murderer-turned-promoter.

I'm more interested in the 15 year-old runaway dancer.
Ahhh....it's a shame sometimes that I'm so far away from sweet, sweet Rossville.

There was a 15 year old runaway girl from Miami that was dancing in the club.
Stray shows up the same day the news breaks.
Coincidence?

It's too bad his parole officer, trained & probably certified, didn't bother performing her job to any discernable level whatsoever....

Parole officer's job not on line in Club Coffee case Friday, April 27, 2007
By Lauren Gregory Staff Writer Tennessee's parole board does not plan to fire Diane Watson, the parole officer who reportedly had not been checking up on two felons found violating several laws last weekend at a Rossville Boulevard club, Executive Director Bo Irvin said Thursday. "We don't know at this point if she did anything wrong," Mr. Irvin said. "I'm not going to say this case has been handled perfectly, but I don't see anything that would jeopardize her employment." Mr. Irvin described Ms. Watson as a "seasoned veteran" with a "stellar" record, explaining that she has had a strong career with the state of Tennessee for nearly 30 years, nearly 20 of those as a parole officer. She recently had been supervising convicted felons Edward "Ace" Williams III and Randolph Scott Jennings, both of whom were among a group of six adults and two juveniles taken into custody last Friday during a raid at Club Coffee at 2905 Rossville Blvd. During the raid, Chattanooga police reported finding numerous alcohol, narcotics and adult entertainment violations.
