Just wanted to give everyone an update. He got up and showered today, worried about how many people know he was in the hospital and is asking for candy and books. visitation still must be kept to a minimum.

tcrash mused on books for science-fiction fan Thorn: So he would like Al Gore's Global Warming book? or maybe Michael Crichton's State of Fear. Equal time, y'know. ;D Actually, I would be hard-pressed to find any science fiction Thorne hasn't read, probably. Especially considering my slight knowledge of same. I get the impression that he is a voracious reader. But he could always take the books to McKay's, so I will search.

I have been quiet through all of this, just reading along, and Exalting Thorne as often as I could. I have prayed for him often.
I do not know you or him, but trust me when I say, I completely understand what you have been through Samara. I completely understand what he has just been through, even without knowing why he has been through it.
I am elated to hear such progress from a situation like this, as day by day I pray for the same progress. Reading through this with you and Thorne has given me a pinch of hope again. Thank you.

Things are better. Not well, just better. I'm out of the hospital with a "clean bill" (HAH!!) of health. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. More later.

I just realized that Shot was actually Santa Clause.
He knows when you've been sleeping, He knows when you're awake. He knows if you've been bad or good, He's got a taser to keep you in your place
...or something like that.
