After watch SteveFromTheBar search BW3's MP3 jukebox over and over for Amy Winehouse, to no avail, I finally heard some of her stuff the other day.
I am not impressed.

Listening to Amy Winehouse. I did not like her music at first, now I do.
As far as Amy's that make my ears bleed, that would be Amy Lee/Evanescence. Like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Emanon!!!! Amen sister!!! I have been saying that forever!!! I thought I was the only one. As far as Winehouse...cool, snark too we have another thing in common Worm what song were you listening to? I have to say "Rehab" (Stray's No, No, No) song is not my favorite but, it does get the most airplay. You may have heard Back to Black, or I'm no Good, I think they have been on the radio too. If you like the 60's female sound you might like her. Personally I like her sound because of that and also because she is so different from anything out there right now. Stevefromthebar might like her for that reason or maybe because she is hot lol

My favorite Amy Winehouse song is "Me and Mr. Jones", because it has my "fuckery" word in it.
I like her, but in small doses. Today I am listening to Incubus's "Morning View" album, since I have lots of work to get done.
By the way, Milk-I just walked past you in the cafeteria.....

Maria Callas doing something superhuman with her voice. The recording is on my hard drive with no information, so I am at a loss to name it or otherwise comment.
I know little of operatic music other than it is a highly athletic and artistic accomplishment when a Maria Callas does it.
Sort of like the opera scene in Philadelphia, when Tom Hanks makes Denzel Washington understand what he feels when hearing an opera.
It ain't Willie Nelson, but in its way as great an achievement.

Now listening to Ronnie Bowman's older (1994?) CD "Cold Virginia Night" which is pretty darn good. He used to be with the Lonesome River Band.
