Recently, Janet Wilson did a review of The Courthouse Grill And Cafe In Ringgold. www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_162032.aspToday was the very first time I have ever been to a place she reviewed and likely to be my last. I ordered the Cheese sticks for an appetizer and the Cheeseburger for my meal. The cheese sticks were very delicious and served hot. You get about eight pieces. The appear to be home made, amd breaded was lightly seasoned with Italian spices. It is served with a side of dipping sauce. I chose Ranch Dressing since I am not fond of Marinara sauces. My Cheeseburger was large as the menu stated, but the beef patty had a tangy taste to it. It appeared to be pre-formed, probably frozen, and was either steamed or cooked in a broth. It was missing the grill flavor I was so expecting. The cheeseburger was also smother in ketchup. I like catchup, but when all I can taste is ketchup and bread, it's disgusting. And the lettuce is that finely chopped, like they serve at Taco Bell. The burgers are served with chips on the side, in fact a tiny bag of Lays plain potato chips, no other choices offered, and a half a pickle. Sorry but the ketchup burger did it for me! You can find most of it in the parking lot next to where i was parked.
