OK- we picked up 2 pies to go last night, one veggie with white sauce, spinach and broccoli and one with red sauce and 3 meats. I also ran by Little Caesars and got a couple of cheapie glutinous pizzas in case my boys turned their noses up at gluten free crust-well, everyone LOVED the gluten free MM pizzas! The crust is thin and flaky-NOT an easy thing to accomplish when working with gluten free dough. They buy the dough frozen and make the pizzas in a dedicated area to reduce any chance of cross contamination.
24 hours later and my extremely sensitive celiac daughter has no signs of being exposed to gluten, so I guess they did an excellent job! I am so excited she has a place to go out now with her friends and have pizza and (GF) beer....

At first read I thought it meant glutton free.

No, it wasn't glutton free. I had half a pizza to myself when I should have stopped at the second piece. It was delicious.

It is tasty, isn't it?
I also got an email from a friend that Fat Daddy's by the Rave in E. Ridge is offering gluten free pizza, let me know if you try it!

Hey, we're starting to really get some options! Next Tony's will add a gluten free pasta dish! (OK, I'm just wishing here, but hey... can ya blame me?)

Barley contains gluten-oats are controversial.
I have thought of offering a class on gluten free baking since I've been doing it for so long-although now that Earthfare has Udi's bread I've been buying it rather than baking my own...

Yup, while this article says the gluten in barley is a "different protein" it affects a celiac the same way.

This is good to know. Next time my parents come I'll have to take my mom out for pizza.

tastes kinda like bud lite.
Does Mellow Mushroom serve Redbridge?? It's not easy to find, the grocery stores don't stock it anymore. They did at first, but...

Budweiser Chattanooga does not distribute this beer. Race Way at HWY 27 and Dayton pike has it.

I have NEVER seen Redbridge at Greenlife. I've looked. Often.
I'd never have pegged you for drinking it, Joe. I should raid your refrigerator sometime. Apparently you're good for more than coffee.

I don't drink it, but a friend of mine is also gluten free - so I pick it up when I'm over there. As for Greenlife, I can not confirm but was told.
