One would hope so. They served even worse BBQ than the original location, and that is saying a lot. It boggles my mind how they stay in business.

Not closed. Sticky Fingers next door is closed...but Rib and Loin is still open. Not my favorite BBQ by any stretch but their stuffed potatoes are good as well as their prices. To each his own.

The meat has absolutely no flavor what so ever. The problem is what was working 20 years ago for them is killing them now. There are so many better BBQ places around town that I cannot remember the last time I ate at Rib N Loin. Even the BBQ Stuffed potato would just have to be drown in sauce to bring some flavor to the dish. They need to go back to the drawing board and come up with a new way to cook the meat.

Never was impressed with Rib And Loin (Either location).
The best B-B-Q I have ever savored was not made in some restaurant.
Made my a fellow named Bunk Lindsey (Rest his soul). Trapped the hog in the swamp, took it back to his house (Built before the Civil War) where he raised it, on sweet corn, to slaughter (After the first frost or some such thing). He had a use almost every square inch of that hog.
Cooked it in the sand (Ground, down there) with Hickory wood. Made his own sauce.
He once got pissed I was killing snapping turtles while hangin' lines for catfish and not giving him the now headless corpse. I thought they were a waste, until he showed me how to clean and cook one. Best "Turtle Soup" I have ever tasted.
No "soul" going into the sauce, or the meat (And procurement of the meat), and all you got is well cooked, boring food.
Sad.
I miss him.
