What is so funny is that people who are pro BO complain about paying the sales tax but have NO problem with an increase federal taxes. I would rather pay a sales tax where the money stays withing the state then pay federal taxes that just go to fill the pockets of other politicians. We have anti BO people screaming too about having to pay sales tax but at least they are consistent on the stay out of my wallet message.

One of several problems with your "analysis" here is that Barack Obama has not increased federal taxes; in fact, he recently extended tax CUTS that were due to expire this year. |

I totally have to bcall BS on this one. Please show us examples of "Pro BO" people complaining about sales taxes and clarify for us the connection how President Obama is responsible for state sales taxes.
You ARE aware that federal taxes under President Obama are lower than they were under Bush, aren't you? Or are you just still mad about when Obama came for your guns? (Probably the biggest non-story since Fox reported on Iraq's WMDs)

A few observations:
I do find it darkly humorous that when people took a few shots at The Shrub when he was President they were told in no uncertain terms that they should have respect for the office. It seems this does not apply to the current President in many cases.
Many years ago I had my own appliance business in far Northern California, about 100 miles from the Oregon state line. California had sales tax and Oregon did not. People would drive to Oregon to make purchases in order to avoid sales tax. The same people were the ones to bitch the loudest about a pothole or any other problem that may have been fixed sooner if there was more sales tax money to pay for it.

Or could have been fixed sooner if they hadn't wasted all of their tax revenue on moonbeams and pipe dreams.
