New joint called Papa Murphy's Pizzas, a take-and-bake place. Anyone ever tried it?

wow? how about being a patron? maybe a long winded unnecessarily worded review of the texture of the sauce? Maybe you could critique the crust with your vast vocabulary and knowledge of,.. well,.. apparently everything.

They were quite good for a take and bake. I have not had one in a few years, though.

Now, I'm gonna have to get me one of these pizzas, because BS (and that's a GOOD handle for you, son) panned it. sheesh

Tried a large 12" pepperoni ($6). Sauce had a spicy little kick, covered in pepperoni, cheese was plentiful.
Dough not quite as yeasty as I like, but OK.
Friendly service.
Better than Little Caesar's, Marco's, Stevie B's. For the money better than Pizza Hut. Not quite as tasty overall than a Domino's (and that depends on the Domino's), but for the price very good.
Rather than delivery, I like cooking my pizza so I can have it very hot.
Satisfied overall and will try another one soon.

We had them in Alaska, and they were popular, and they're all over the place here in the Metroplex.
They're popular with the welfare queens because they can use food stamps to get them since they're not pre-cooked.

So do you think that Papa Murphy's change its policy to keep all those poor white trash Alaskans from buying pizza with their food stamps?

I don't get it.
What does Papa Murphy's offer? Ingredients to make your own pizza at home?

Awesome!
Are there any Chinese or Mexican "restaurants" that will sell me bags of rice that I can cook myself at home?
This has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

This has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. It's the fifth largest pizza chain in the US, so maybe many, many others see it somewhat differently. A concept with 1000+ franchises doesn't sound to "dumb" to me.

But, I would like to take this time to announce my new restaurant. I am calling it "Buy And Fry". For only $19.99 you get seasoned chicken Mashed potatoes Corn And honey glazed biscuits

For only $19.99 you get seasoned chicken How is this such a hard concept? It is easier to pick up the pre-made pizza and heat it up at home than to make the dough, put it on the pan, add the sauce, etc. Duh. If you want to make your own, go for it. As far as your new restaurant, have you heard of Cassa Rolls? You are a little behind. www.casa-rolls.com/

Does the pizza have all the sauce and toppings on it when you buy it? Or, Does it come with crust and all sauce and toppings that you put on it at home?

generally speaking my idea of a take and bake pizza is one that is completely made to order ready to be placed in the oven.
