Do you see many people driving around in buggies pulled by horses or mules?

There is an Amish community near Clarksville, TN that is probably the closest one to Chattanooga. You can also try this site: www.amish.net/

They use to sell Amish products, including cheese, at that produce stand on Signal Mtn Rd. I haven't been over that way in quite some type so I don't know if it is even there anymore and I can't remember the name of it either.

The Signal Mtn Road market has a sign out front that says they sell Amish products. Saw it day before yesterday, and pretty sure it listed butter, maybe cheese. Next to Petunias.

There is an Amish Farm just North of Benton (Delano) on Hwy 411, They sell Amish Butter and fresh produce and homemade baked and canned goods every Saturday, but from what I understand they sell out of the butter pretty quick so you have to get there really early. Also Sweetwater Valley Farm and Cheese factory in Philadelphia sells Amish Butter and eggs.

The place at 309 Signal Mtn Road is called Crocker Produce. They have an ad in the Weekly North Hamilton Co. insert in today's paper. It says they carry Amish butter, cheese, jams & jelly, pickles, relish, soups, and pie filling.

Answer one of those ads for an "Amish hand-made heater" and ask 'em to churn you some butter while they're grinding out those "free heater mantles".
