If your City Council representative does not show up to vote, then you have no voice! What was the attendance record of the Chattanooga City Council for the 2011/2012 fiscal year? Find out at my City Council Roll Call! The answer might surprise you! (or in the case of Sally Robinson, not at all)
She lives in a full time guarded gated community, see crime problem solved.
Shame on her for being successful, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!
I don't see a problem with her living in a guarded and gated community. I see a big problem of her doing so while wanting to reduce the police protection for those outside her castle walls.
As far as her being successful? Is she really successful or is she able to afford that due to her being in a position to make decisions for the city of Chattanooga? I'm assuming she's just an astute business woman who made her money honestly but living in Gwinnett County makes me very suspicious of anyone holding political office.
JiT "Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear them or hate them. The second is that to love someone means that you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don't have to compromise convictions to be compassionate." ~Rick Warren
I ommitted the entire perspective off from orignal comments, not that it will matter. For starter, I don't give shit whether she is rich or not. I know alot of rich people that see the needs of others. Further, she is a pauper compared to the Corker house on the other side of Hixson Pike, hehe. I guess I am from the wrong side of Hixson Pike.
I do care that she cannot identify with the problems of her district due to her lack of vulnerability to crime, and private protection she has, verses the rest of her district. It is too easy to cut police car presence when you have your own private popo. She made her money the old fashion way, and married a lawyer.
I live in her district and started the neighborhood watch because my door does not have a stationed 24-7 guard. As a result, Robinson does not see the value of having as many patrol cars as possible on the streets. So maybe I should have included the entire story there. If you don't agree tough tators.

Just like with any-other politician that cuts cops and/or restricts gun rights. They all have private armed popos in their wallets.
