Dr. Ben Carson Fires Back at Critics: ‘Somebody Has to Be Courageous Enough to Stand Up to the Bullies’ Feb. 11, 2013 Dr. Benjamin Carson won over conservatives when he railed against many of the big government policies endorsed by President Barack Obama during the National Prayer Breakfast last week, at which the president was in attendance. This guy is my new political hero. JiT should love his 'Flat Tax' argument. Since he is eloquent, studied, far more intelligent than most of us, yet 'conservative', he is going to be vilified by the Left, and the Right, but adored by those of us in the Middle (Those who have much more voting power than either extreme when we actually get off our asses and VOTE!). Put this guy on a ballot and I will vote for him. If I lived in Chicago, I'd vote for him twice, even after I'm dead.
