Rogue Shakespeare Stout
Rogue Hazelnut Nectar
Anything from Dog Fish Head especially if you can enjoy it at their brew pub...
We are going to watch the Brasstown Bald stage of the Tour De Georgia. One of the huge perks is riding on the Jittery Joe's bus enjoying complimentary Terrapin beers ALL DAY....

I did some extensive product testing yesterday on the latest offerings from the Terrapin Beer Company at the Tour De Georgia. We started the day with "The Big Hoppy Monster " ale. It was a red ale with an unbelievable amount of hops. The warning states the Monster has a bite. It does have 8.0 %ABV. I.E it's strong...A great drink for Summer. Then I went on to the Rye Pale Ale. it won a Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Festival in 2002. I thought it was very good. Not nearly as hoppy....Finally we tried the All-American imperial Pilsner. My least favorite of the day. A great choice for someone who does not like the more 'extreme" styles. Perfect for unwinding after yard work or the one to have when your having a few....

There's so many beers out there. It's crazy!!! I'd like to try 'em all, but I'm not a connoisseur by any stretch,

Rouge, IMHO as a beer aficianado, you tried the Terrapin beers in exactly the wrong order. After drinking Big Hoppy Monster no beer will taste like much. In reality even the Imperial Pilsner is too hoppy for many beer drinkers used to the mass brewed stuff. I always taste from the light to heavy, much like wine tasting.

...Upon further reflection, I'd like to add a follow-up beer to My Precious I've only recently discovered in Dos Equis Special Lager. The Amber was an old favorite, but the SL has a great flavor without the expected formaldehyde aftertaste.
The Purple Haze reminded me that it, Blue Moon, and Hefeweizen (in particular) are my favorite Snob Beers. That is, beer you generally drink to look cool, but I drink because they're like candy, and more than 2-3 will make you sick as an South African Ass Hound and thereby preserve your personal relationships.

Its not my favorite, but I discovered a gluten-free beer and tried it today.
Redbridge, produced by Anheuser Busch. I'm not excited, but it IS nice to be able to have a beer.
