Any coffee is good with the right amount of Bailey's in it! Add Kahlua and you will be very happy.
The little coffee shop on the corner of Vine Street and ?? that is next to the old David's restaurant is my favorite. It is called Coffee Crafters. They roast their beans daily at the small biz place on Cherokee BLvd.
We are coffee addicts at our house. Sometimes we will mix various blends just for the change. Starbucks is doable, Greyfriars is yummy!

It is, indeed, the Stuff that makes Champions. I'd be so bold as to say that if there was one person on this board that could prove they drank more coffee than me--don't EVEN bring DadShot! into this--I'd kiss their ass at Miller Plaza.
My alarm clock is a Cuisinart with a built-in grinder. HEAVEN. I'm personally an 'Eight O'Clock Coffee' (nothing fancy, so long as it is Arabica) whole-bean man, myself; filtered water is a must. But the core of my Coffee Being is as a veteran third shift cop. There is NO worse cup of coffee in the world than a 3:00am bucket that's been cooking in a Favorite Market cauldron for 12 hours. On the other hand, the best straight coffee I've ever had was at a Dunkin' Donuts the size of a closet next to the Philadelphia Hotel in Manhatten. Go figure.
Coffee...is Mothers Milk. It is Sweet Sweet Water filtered through Sweet Sweet Beans, and contains nothing bad for you no matter what anyone says or whatever 'facts' they have. Everything 'bad' about coffee ever said, printed or pictured is a dirty lie and I would crush the throats of anyone in reach that said otherwise. It is Pure, it is Good, and I need it.
In my trunk, I have a spare coffee mug. Stainless, with a screw top lid. In my console, I have a Primary mug. On my dash, I screwed a cupholder in place with my Usual Mug. For Christmas last year, I received a total of NINE coffee mugs as gifts, and I have used each one religiously--and KUDOS to the clever bastard that found one that was not just SPILLPROOF, but 16 oz as well! And not just one...but TWO! I bought my folks a Bunn two years ago that can brew a pot with pre-heated, pre-filtered water in UNDER four minutes. And when we're waiting for it to finish--we are PISSED, and trap squirrels and racoons in the backyard to pass the time. Seriously.
As for Starbucks? A Venti Vanilla Latte' with an extra shot of Espresso (bringing it up to three or four, depending) is about as far as I go with the Fru-Fru's...but I too dislike their stock brands, with the exception of Guatamalan. WHOA.
But Coffee? Yes.
It's DAMN sure not just for breakfast anymore. And speaking of such, the last cup I had at BluePlate tonight around 10:00pm was EXCELLENT. For drinking, OR removing paint. WHOO!

I see no "Starbucks, Speciality, Folgers, whatever it is it'd better be delivered by an IV drip" option.... Ah... The "Snorting Sanka" School. Yeah. I remember those times... Good times. ;D Snorting Sanka? Why bother? The name "Sanka" is a contraction of the French phrase "sans cafeine" which means "without caffeine." In other words, Sanka is decaffeinated coffee. Snorting it gives you nothing beyond serious sinus trouble. Dave

Have you tried a shot of Amarula in your coffee? It's made out of some African fruit that monkeys get drunk on...

No threat, FKL. Four 16 oz. cups are not unusual, and I help DadShot! finish off the last pot around midnight.
Let me tell you about my ex-roommate now. He BUILT a coffee shop to go with his other food--'cigarettes'.
...Doing quite well, really.
