I look pretty young, but I'm just back-dated.

Not that I'm grieving or anything, but I have noticed that there are now 2 Church's locations boarded up - the one next to Food Lion on Brainerd Road and now the one at the corner of Wilcox and Dodson. This looks more like a decision from Corporate than an incidental closing due to structural damage or what have you. Wonder if there's major downsizing afoot throughout the organization, i.e. they can't afford to keep too many locations open, or if they're just not doing the business around here. Could be either one. KFC at Dodson & E.3rd will benefit.

The one on Wilcox closed? That was the good one! No void of other chicken places will make KFC taste better...

You know why it's called "Church's" don't you? You have to pray it doesn't kill you!

Nothing has killed me yet and the first thing that does won't be my problem for long.

The one on Rossville Blvd has been gone for 2-3 years now. Are there any left in the area at all? I loved Church's.

It was REALLY good! Their biscuits were like Crack! That's why we didn't eat there often (As in not more than once or twice a YEAR). I KNOW everything was deep fat fried and slathered in butter.... but it was SOOooooo Goood!

Best biscuits I 'd ever had at a FF place, the chicken was much better than KFC. They had the least expensive two piece around. I loved them and will miss them.
