Just because you drive a large pickup truck does not give you a) the right to turn right on red without coming to a complete stop first to make certain no one else is using the roadway, b) the right to not use a turn signal to show your intention of turning, or c) the right to stop your truck in the middle of the road, blocking the intersection and creating a public safety hazard just because someone blew their horn at you for being a dumbass.
I don't really give a rats ass what uniform you are wearing or where you work or what it was your unintelligently yelling out your window - I was already in the roadway and was trying to park in legal space and was actually using my turn signals.

Just the ones that think they own the road.

Damn straight. Nothing worse than someone that tried to force authority while doing wrong themselves.
(for the record they do own the road, that's their job)

Not when they are driving personal vehicles. There's this neat thing called a "turn arrow" that allows people to make left hand turns. I was lucky I didn't run into his truck, mainly because I never whip through a left-hand turn at the intersection due to drivers like him.

It's just another bad driver.... Hardly anyone uses turn signals or show any indication of what they're going to do.. It's crazy out there... There's just a ton of people who can't drive well... I've had little teeny boppers merging into my lane.......straight into me....speeding into a turn without any turn signals ... And of course, if I'm behind and they cause the crash, it's always my fault cuz I was behind... Grrr.

Did you happen to get his tag number?

No, I was too busy trying to avoid getting run over after he blocked me in the middle of the intersection as the main lights were turning green (I was turning on a green arrow when he pulled his stunt).

Around here, it's interesting to see kids drive in Anchorage for the first time. With only one traffic light, the biggest challenge here in town is avoiding all the drivers from Wisconsin and Minnesota.

I have often expressed my opinion that at least half of the people on the road here think turn signals are completely optional. Another thing that makes me crazy are fools who race up behind me and camp-out a few inches off my bumper, especially when I'm following someone else and couldn't go faster if I wanted to. Last on the list are the ones who go like a bat out of hell on a straightaway but feel that the slightest turn requires braking, AAAAAAAARGGGGGG.
