The case of 41-year-old missing Walker County 911 dispatcher Theresa Parker was the lead story Friday night on CNN TV’s Nancy Grace Investigates, which examines high-profile legal cases from around the nation.
For more than half the show, Ms. Grace – a former Atlanta prosecutor who joined the broadcast world during the O.J. Simpson murder trial – talked with Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson and other individuals familiar with the investigation.
The sheriff said that law enforcement officials are now trying to locate Ms. Parker’s missing cell phone by honing in on the area where it was last used. Although in some cases cell phones can be pinpointed to within a couple of blocks of their location, this cell phone provider can only narrow it down to about a 40-square-mile area, he told Ms. Grace.
He said volunteers will conduct a massive search covering at least a 40-mile area on Saturday morning.
All I have to say about a case like this is that innocence is your best defense.
