By BETH WARREN The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Published on: 03/30/07 Just days after her 16th birthday, an Atlanta teen's father led her to a cemetery, sat on a tombstone and told her to lie on the ground. "You know you're old enough to date boys now," he told her. "I'm about to break you in." The teen cried and begged her father not to, but he pulled out a condom and raped her. He then took her to a nearby convenience store, bought some chips and soda and walked her to a relative's house as if nothing had happened. The teen was scared to tell her relatives, but within a couple of days, broke her silence. Her 33-year-old father, on trial this week for the March, 10, 2006 incident, decided to testify, telling Fulton County jurors he was being framed. www.ajc.com/metro/content/metro/atlanta/stories/2007/03/30/0330incest.html

> ...with a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus 20 years.
What's the point of the "plus 20 years"?

So if a pro-predator legislature/judge changes the Law stating that there is no more "Life Without Parole" because it is too mean or the prisons are too overcrowded, dude still has twenty years to pull.
Hopefully "Life W/O" will last about 20 minutes in General Pop.

Excuse me while I go vomit.
I'm telling you, there is no punishment fitting enough for these kinds of people.

I dunno, seems odd that this would be the birthday present.... and in a graveyard? I'm not totally sure I buy this. He may very well be on the receiving end of a setup for some reason. Of course if he is guilty he'll be dead in a yr if he goes to jail.

Excuse me while I go vomit. I'm telling you, there is no punishment fitting enough for these kinds of people. Xterra, you're quite right. There's no way anyoneor anything can affect that horrid excuse for dna the way he has affected his daughter. However, here is a thought that would at least bring him a bit of pain: one slice at a time, without anesthesia and with a not-too sharp knife.
