Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson received notification on Friday from Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue’s office that Gov. Perdue has authorized a $1,000 reward for information leading to the discovery of 41-year-old Walker County resident Theresa Parker. Ms. Parker, a Walker County 911 dispatcher, was last seen in Fort Oglethorpe on the night of March 21. According to Sheriff Wilson, State Rep. Jay Neal and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted in procuring the reward. Meanwhile, officers were called Friday night to the home of Ms. Parker's estranged husband, Sam Parker, who had been fired from the LaFayette Police Department after explosives were found in his office www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_105479.asp

A whole $1000? They must be really, really serious about this.....
I'm sorry....but they shouldn't even have said anything if they all had to offer up was a dime.
Does anyone else find that amount completely insulting for a long time 911 employee?? The pot at my last Texas Hold 'Em night was more than that, and that was among friends.

I find it insulting to anyone missing under suspicious circumstances where there is very little known.
Information is what is going to clear this case and a grand ain't gonna buy much intel. Or open the mouth of someone with information.
I bet they could match that amount in an hour in Lafayette, Georgia.
