At about 3:10 p.m. CST, officers from the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office recieved a report of a hit and run in the Cagle community on Highway 111 north. Officers located the car near the Dunlap city limits on Highway 111 and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver of the pickup refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated.
