I blame Bloodhound, Homebrew Dave, Marvell, Babs, Thyst, Worm, Lowly's Girl, FunGrrl, Thorne, Samara and Mightejoe for the way I'm feeling this morning.
That is all.

I thought about calling you, Red, but you don't even show up for a scheduled party. Nice resolution ya got there, Joe. Was that the best one?

Bloodhound... actually couldn't of made it anyways. I got the baby. =-D Which frankly I'd much rather be with her than anyone else. I just wanted to be a smart alec.

No worries. Enjoy the time you have with your daughter. Before you know it, she'll be having children of her own.

I feel more solicitous today.
Well, somewhat... and I'm still not sure how 19 Guinesses were consumed. That math still doesn't add up.
Next time we keep the empties for "accounting purposes".

Nineteen Guinness?
Amateur.
My personal best stands at 32 pints in one evening (and yeah, there were plenty of witnesses. They helped pour me into the car later...)

I think it's more along the lines of getting charged for 19 Guinness and not remembering drinking that many. Sounds as if someone ended up with two tabs instead of one. And I didn't know that the Barrel kept 19 Guinness on hand without prior warning.

It's worse than that, Erin - that was between four people. I only had three, in fact (but paid for five). We were just being "sociable", as opposed to "convention mode".

Ah, then I retract my snarky comment. You know, it is possible that you kids ordered 19 Guinness and never received them. I won't slag the Barrel as I am very fond of Nick, but things happen there (or fail to) from time to time.
And for the record I wasn't in convention mode, it was strictly business (St. Patrick's Day show, 2002 at Parkway Billiards...) After 32 pints (each one swallowed in front of an exponentially more attractive crowd) I managed to convince the asshole Pakistani bartender to sing "Turn the Page."

The service at the Barrel is consistent. You all already know what I mean. Complaining about bad service at the Pickle Barrel is like complaining that a bean burrito gave you gas - it is no surprise to you or those around you...
All that aside it is a great place and there have been stretches I paid the power bill on a regular basis...

I'd be offended that no one called to invite me.... if I thought I'd have the time or energy to hang out like that.

Sorry, I honestly thought you were out of town. I don't know why any of the other people there didn't call you, but I'll let them come up with their own excuses.

I'll accept that if I could remember when and what the hell was going on that night. There was basketball and there was beer and then there was sleep.

He is usually slinking near walls when I see him...and looks startled when you address him...surprised even.....kinda like I react when I am in drunk 'invisible mode'....
