He is a real cutie. I would take him if I could. I'm full up on pets right now. I'll ask around though.

Tank? like... A1 Abrams? Panzer?
Ohhh... Panzer would be an awesome name for a mastiff or a rotwiler, wouldn't it?
Anyway, can't help ya, chica... aside from being 7 hours due south of you, I'm not a dog person, and I already have 1 pet. My cat would eat my face in my sleep if I brought a dog into the house.

Nice to meet you too Fun Grrl. I have a couple of feelers out on Tank. Hopefully I'll hear something in a day or two. If Babs doesn't grab him first.
And she should, he tears at your heart.

I do have a 3 level deck Tank could play on. Or he could sleep on the "little couch" ( love seat) all day.The "good with little children" is a big plus. I miss a dog riding in the car with me for short rides on cool days . After a few months of riding, they get to looking both ways at stop signs just like their people. If anyone else strongly wants or need him, let me know.

Babs, I would be happy to bring him over to introduce him to your kitty and you, you could even babysit him one night to see how it would work but i must admit I have reservations about his strength...he isn't tall but he is very strong and is built like a bull..and has come close to knocking me down in the mad dash out the back door during feeding time and I would not want to see you get hurt by accident. As for the housetraining...one day last week in my mad dash out the door to work I did not realize that when i shooed the puppers into the backyard for the day he was on the couch and not already out back, so he remained locked in the house all day....i walked in and he raised his head , opened one eye and grinned at me....he probably didn't move all day...

He looks and sounds adorable, but I'm afraid he's too strong. I had a small dog once who pulled me down twice in a year. I broke a collar bone once and the second time, fell on my side and had a black eye. People began to wonder! I'm looking for something like a little terrier. I called the pound about WRCB's Ginger this morning, but she was adopted yesterday. I may go out there tomorrow.

Obedience training is a good thing.
Consider the case of Romeo. 117lb at his lightest (last weighed he was 126), but he never pulls his lead. He's a *gentleman*.

Word...WK...Word He would be a great competion obedience dog ....and if if I had the time and he were an only dog that is what I would do with him...he is smart, picks up on commands well and wants to please.....as far as i am concerned his only bad habit is the dashing by you out the door thing and that could be retaught quickly.... hehe I threaten molly with keeping him and finding her a home ....she just flips me off in her moll-dog way.... I know I need to just suck it up and accept that i have three dogs now , as particular as i am being about his new home..I just can't help but think there is someone with more time to devote to him...and until then he will stay with me...
