Not that I care to be drawn into another's negativity but I must inform you that you are incorrect in your statements.
The landowner does not own all the equipment, silverware, etc etc. I consider myself a little more intelligent than that, Sorry.
Perhaps you should stop in and see for yourself rather than posting negative comments without even experiencing the change. Then feel free to comment, by all means.
Fortunately, alot of open minded, friendly residents have stopped in and raved about the food and were very welcoming.
Hope to see you soon,

Dear Miss RRG:
Why not show us what you do have to offer. How about an website with a menu and maybe some photos, along with a little history about yourself and what direction you intend to take the RRG to.
I really have no intentions of going to Red Bank. But if you can show me what your draw is, then maybe I can reconsider. Bar food is bar food. Is there a difference?
Thanks
and P.S.
I checked on the building myself after the Lord's packed up, and was specifically told it was $10,000 to buy them out of the lease with the old man retaining ownership of the building and it's entire contents. So perhaps you cut a deal. I had other plans different from a bar.

"Games, Jukebox, plasma tv's, etc."
So, another noisy joint.
"Awesome new menu featuring great steaks, burgers, sandwiches , appetizers & more! Come try our southwest egg rolls, blazin’ buffalo wings, texas roadhouse burger or our 12oz handcut Ribeye! So much more!"
With bar food.
I very much liked the last incarnation of this establishment. Not so sure about this one.

So we're open again under a new theme! I stumbled on this forum while researching this restaurant (prior to buying it) so here I am again, to let you know, it has been renovated and open again. We're from FLORIDA & would love for you to come in & meet us! ( P.S. Even my chef came up with me from Florida ) Games, Jukebox, plasma tv's, etc. A completely different look & menu, affordable and fun! Here's a clip of the flyer. New Menu, New Owners, New Theme Happy Hour Daily 4-6pm FREE WIFI avail. This week. Special lunches on Sundays! Awesome new menu featuring great steaks, burgers, sandwiches , appetizers & more! Come try our southwest egg rolls, blazin’ buffalo wings, texas roadhouse burger or our 12oz handcut Ribeye! So much more!
Enjoy Lunch or Dinner while watching your favorite sports game on 1 of our 4 big plasma tv’s. Let me be the first to welcome you to the Chattanooga area, and wish you the best of success in your new venture. Kindly ignore those who would deride your efforts because: (A) the Hennen's didn't start it; (B) it's not "Downtown"; (C) it doesn't fit the "character" of the community; (D) it's not part of a chain. Play YOUR game, and do what you do well. Let your laughter, and your success, be your answer. Brian: what Bob said. You WON the Poll!

Tsavo, it is rare enough when we agree on something, but when we do, we really do. I commend you on this...
Chattanooga is a tough market for restaurants and bars and plenty have fallen by the wayside since I got here 17 years ago but kudos to the person with enough guts, drive and entrepreneurship to give it a go.
Congratulations Red Rock, I wish you well and as for the negativity directed your way all I can say is that the forum is occasionally a magnet for Monday morning quarterbacks, armchair warriors and a myriad of other people whose clearly superior knowledge of the wide, wicked world empowers them to piss, moan and generally deride anything and everything from the comfort of the computer keyboard.
True enough, that building has been through more than a few name changes but so have most of the buildings in Chattanooga and you certainly aren't culpable for anyone else's failure any more than anyone else can take credit for your success.
Good luck to you and me and mine will be by for a quick pint (provided of course you stock Guinness...)

I'd like you both to come in AND even the others stop in, introduce yourself to me and I'll buy your first drink! I'm not worried about the negativity. I'm just here to earn a living, give jobs to a few unemployed people that have turned out to be great workers and team players while providing something simple and affordable to local residents. Just the basics, good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Most can appreciate the effort. With that said, I'd like to let you know about our grand opening on Fri, nov 20th 7-9 pm. Budweiser will join us with prizes, raffles, 25 cent wings, $1 domestic draft, $2 import draft, $1.75 dom. longnecks! Hope to see ALL OF YOU.No hard feelings, life is too short, I'm actually pretty nice and don't take forums personally. I welcome everyone. thanks LISA

Any restaurant in this location can give away lobster with a free side of crack and they will still fail.
"(A) the Hennen's didn't start it"
huh?

Red Rock Grill will celebrate new owners and a fresh image in a grand re-opening ceremony held at its Dayton Boulevard location on Feb. 1. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will assist with the ribbon cutting beginning at 11 a.m. www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_167464.aspGeeze, I've lost count of the different owners now! Reminds me of the Brass Register after it was closed after all those years. Kept failing over and over with new owners. The Vineyard was the most pitiful. It was NOT a fern bar. I don't know if anyone could have made it work after Marsha left. I heard the property owner was charging a fortune for rent there, which they couldn't do after it changed hands.

The Vineyard was the scene of one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.
