CPD units have four (4) digit ID #s and HCSO units are three (3) digits.
I originally thought your beef was with a CPD K-9 unit. HCSO K-9 has no such unit number.
Which is it? Or did you make the whole thing up to make a point? A kind of Poetic Chronic LE Complainer's License or something? Maybe the guy was going so fast you couldn't read the whole thing?

It was clearly too fast for anyone else to give a righteous shit about, and that's the only thing for certain I've seen in his 'He Changed Lanes Without Signal' rant that he defines his 'Out of Control Police Force' by.
YAWN.
Really? Poor fucker thinks he's living in Hitler Germany.
Really: Let me tell you about HITLER GERMANY, dude.
You're so desperate for Chattanooga to have 'real' problems, this is the best you can come up with.
Really.

No big deal that a marked car violated a traffic rule. Agreed.
Since it is no big deal. No reason to file a complaint here or with IA, then repeal the law.
Until the law is repealed, cut the do as I say not as I do attitude.

We are not sure if any LE car violated a traffic rule, are we? Differing stories about which one it was would tend to impact the credibility of the accuser. One element required for a guilty verdict is the identity of the defendant and in this particular case the identification of the alleged offender is iffy (Read "Reasonable Doubt"). Are we saying that if LEOs are accused, then there only needs to be a "Preponderance of the evidence"? That really would be a "Higher standard" for LE.
Which brings me to an issue I have been considering for some time...
Since Police Blotter posters are anonymous and the LEOs accused have no opportunity of confronting/cross-examining the accuser(s), I am making a rule that no complaints against LEOs in particular (LEOs in general are still fair game) will be allowed. It is too prone for abuse. Any anonymous poster could post a Car # accusing the LEO assigned to that car of all sorts of things on this public forum for whatever motive.
Since a car # is as unique as a name, that is the same as any other poster accusing a named individual of a crime, which is already not allowed.
There are easily accessible and effective avenues for filing a complaint against an individual LEO and that is the path anyone who wishes to complain should follow. There are plenty of websites that allow one to anonymously name an officer and accuse him/her of anything.
I would suggest these two venues for the, "I saw LEO Car Number _______ haulin' ass for no reason while throwing kittens out the window" posts as they are no longer allowed on the Police Blotter.
The CMF Police Blotter is not IA, nor does it have an investigative arm to test the credibility and veracity of an anonymous complaint against LEOs. If a Police Blotter reader sees an offense committed by a LEO, take it to the proper agency (Just make sure you have the car # and Agency right) so the problem can really be taken care of.
That is all I have, carry on...

Actually, I agree with PM's new rule. It never occurred to me to see it as the faceless accusation that it was.
Is there anyone here that is aware users on this Forum have made complaints on specific officers that post here under pseudonyms to not just their Bosses...but to the Dept. of Homeland Security, because they were in an 'online argument' or just didn't like what they had to say in general? Real JOBS were placed at stake? That particular user is gone as a result of his underhanded actions...but so is the one he complained on.
I can joke about John Smith smoking crack...but if I said "On May 24th I saw John Smith, who works for Erlanger Hospital as a Certified Physicians Assistant, smoking crack at 2:24 pm at 1000 Dodds Ave.", Can John Smith of Erlanger defend himself? Can he establish it ISN'T true? No. And No.
Same situation with whoever signed out that car number that day. Look in your heart and think What part of that is 'cool'? What part is 'Appropriate'?
Yeah. I'm ashamed I didn't think of it from that perspective before, and I'm ashamed of 'why': because I've been conditioned to it.
Thanks PM. And Tell TcrashFX he should come back around sometime...

every time I come here.
same ol same ol typical predictable cop talk
Limited Intercouse makes a mention of something unrelated (old TV shows) and makes a reference to somebody smoking weed
Long Shot uses big words with lots of punctuation in an attempt to have all his cronies FOTFLMAO (did I get that right)
what is a bit new is that the The Mod comes in and spends way too much time dissecting my "credibility" and then proceeds to "amend" the Chattanooga Message Board's code of conduct so him & his counterparts can continue to break the law w/o anybody being allowed to throw it out there for discussion. (sorry couldn't pass up that low blow)
I've now been accused of lying. Of making shit up. All the PoPo's are gonna continue to insist that I did & I will never say anything other than everything I wrote in that thread, what?, 2 months ago? was factual. So there's no reason to discuss that part anymore.
But it wasn't a BIG FUCKING DEAL remember? why are there still so many responses? why are the codes of conduct being changed? Maybe the car number I had I missed by a number? Maybe I didn't and THe Mod is just saying that the car doesn't exsist? Maybe Longshot is the car number in question and his boys are covering for him? Maybe this is just a FREAKING MESSAGE BOARD!!! I'm just:
"so desperate for Chattanooga to have 'real' problems, this is the best you can come up with."
If I knew how to bold things or underline stuff I would
And for the record,.... no this is NOT a big deal. What is a big deal? Legions of message boarding cops trying to justify breaking simple traffic laws.
Flip the conversation: But officer I just really don't understand what the big deal is,... I mean there are real problems in chattanooga and all I did was speed, tailgate traffic, & repeatedly changed lanes w/o signaling.
doesn't fly brah!

Yet here we are, Bryan: Calmer than you are Dude. (Nice Rant.)
---
Break out a thesaurus you illiterate fuck...but I'll be short. You positively identified an officer of doing wrong for which he could be disciplined in ways you literally do not know, yet he cannot face his accuser because you're not happy about the way he drives. Call internal affairs. This note literally CANNOT get to him by this thread, only THEY can, and aren't you wanting to help him by identifying him so? I'll even give you the number...but citing specific things about specific people has REAL consequences here, so man up and push it on through. Maybe you'll get lucky and get anther cop off the force...for Speeding.
Shut up or put up. But dont' go slinging accusations to get folk in trouble and not follow through with it. You specifics ARE in violations of Terms of Service, but that aside...follow through, and let me know how it goes. It is, after all, a Pretty Big Deal.

I thought about telling my brah <extreme sarcasm> there, Longshot that he missed a punctuation point, but the more I read this thread the less able to remain calm I become. Bryan, your disdain for law enforcement is quite evident, but I'd like to ask you to try something.
Let someone decide they need to torch your new home and burn it down because you gave them a place to stay and money to spend. Let them return after having them removed and steal everything of worth you have left. Let them ruin the engine of a 6 day old F150 Lariat while they're back. Let them crawl through your attic and disable your alarm system so you know they will be back. Try walking through your own home with a pistol in hand at all times for months because you're scared shitless. Don't forget and leave the pistol elsewhere while you shower. Let this same crazy person show up at your home yet again complete with murder kit this time, and have a cop save your life. Do you understand? A cop risked his life to save mine!!!!!!!!!!!! Call us cronies some more, bitch.

CPD units have four (4) digit ID #s and HCSO units are three (3) digits. Unless I am mistaken, there are still a large number of CPD units that have 3 digit IDs.
