Several arrests for property crimes-related offenses were made yesterday by the Chattanooga Police Department.
Property Crimes Officers arrested Sterling Pollard for an outstanding warrants related to a burglary that happened on August 31, 2008 at 401 Bell Avenue in which a Hoveround was stolen. Pollard was arrested for aggravated burglary, theft over $1000, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Gavin McCleskey was arrested for aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with an armed robbery that occurred late Monday night at the Kangaroo located at 600 Ashland Terrace. $61 in cash was taken from the store in this incident.
Cornelius Williams was arrested by the Chattanooga Police Fugitive Division for outstanding warrants of aggravated robbery stemming from an incident that happened on August 29, 2008 at 712 W 12th Street Court. The victim in this incident was car-jacked of a 1999 Chevy Tahoe.
Barabbas Brown was arrested for two robberies that happened on August 18th, and August 23rd, respectively. The first was at 2025 Broad Street at the Broad Street Video and the second was at 2437 Rossville Blvd at the Rossville News. Brown was charged with 7 counts of aggravated robbery, criminal conspiracy and firearms charges.
All suspects were taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
