Chattanooga Police responded to several locations this morning on a report of a shooting. Officers went to East Ridge Hospital , 1800 South Kelly Street and Erlanger Hospital to investigate the incident. According to witnesses, Rocky and Adam Tomlinson were in the 1800 block of South Kelly Street when a gunman opened fire upon them. Rocky was shot in the forehead and right arm. Adam was shot twice in the left knee.
After the shooting, the men drove to their East Ridge home where they were taken to East Ridge Hospital by a family member. Due to the nature of their injuries, they were transported to Erlanger Hospital for treatment. Their current conditions are unknown.
Police are seeking a suspect in the shooting. He was described as a black male with long dreaded hair wearing gray Dickie pants. If anyone has information about this incident, they are encouraged to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
